Description:  Covington High School is seeking a part-time math teacher who is dual credit certified. There is a potential for a full time position as well as ECA assignments.

The individual selected for this position will be expected to:

1. Be well prepared when instructing students.
2. Meet the needs of individual students.
3. Maintain high expectations for student learning, achievement, and behaviors.
4. Comply with all rules and regulations as set forth in Board policy.
5. Maintain regular and acceptable attendance.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by the building administration.

The ideal candidate will:

1. Have a master’s degree in mathematics from an accredited college/university and will also be certified to teach dual credit math classes (Precal/Trig)
2. Effectively communicate across various levels – students, parents, peers, and administrators.
