Good morning CMS

Lunch today is a Breaded Chicken Sandwich on a Bun with Carrots and a Cookie.
Breakfast tomorrow will be Breakfast Pizza.

Congratulations to the girl’s track team on winning the bi-county last night. The team consist of Chloe Whittington, Peyton Cornell, Allie Hunt, Belle McCoskey, Preslei Lazzell, Sarah Sowers, Haley Rottmann, Sophia Scott-Musa, Taryn Cates, Danielle Brown, Arya Chadd, Lauren Hardy, Emilee Rice, Alyssa Vickery, and Ezrah Roop. Great job girls!!! 1st place finishes went to Preslei Lazzell (100, 200, 4×100, and long jump), Belle McCoskey (high jump), Allie Hunt (Shot Put, 400, and 4×400), Lauren Hardy (4×400), Haley Rottmann (4×100, 4×400), Sophia Scott-Musa (4×100), and Emilee Rice (4×100, 4×400).

The boy’s track team put up a hard fight and many had their personal best. The relay team of Audie Burchett, Michael Norton, Gavin Guthrie, and Aiden Powell won the 4×100 relay. Others scoring for the team were Logan Hauck, Zane Whittington, Jacoby Lynch, and Easton Cadman. Good job boys! The track team is back in action on Thursday at the North Vermillion Invitational.

CMS Spring Concert – Friday, April 28th at 7 PM in the MPR.

The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association will be hosting Youth Leadership Camp this summer from June 12th – 15th at Pine Creek Camp in Pine Village. Any current 7th or 8th grader is invited. If you are interested, come to the office for an application. Please see Mr. Pettit if you have any questions.

All Middle School library books need to be returned by Friday, May 12th. If you need a book to read after May 12th, you will have to borrow one from your teacher’s classroom or the public library.
