Good morning CMS
Lunch today is Lasagna, Peas with Texas Toast.
Breakfast tomorrow will be Pancakes with a Sausage Patty.
Middle School Student Council will be sponsoring a food/personal care drive May 9th-13th. All items will go to the Covington Food Pantry. There will be drawings for people who bring in food drive items and contests for most creative dress-up attire.
Items of highest need are shampoo, soap, toothpaste, laundry soap, saltine crackers, juice, etc. Please bring your items to Mrs. Martin (7th grade) starting Monday.

Wednesday- Decades- 8th grade-70s

6th grade-2000s
Thursday- Beach Day
Friday- Favorite Movie/TV character Day
There will be a Football Kickoff Meeting on Monday, May 23rd, 2022 @6:30 in the cafeteria.
The Covington Football Program is on the hunt for all student-athletes, managers, parents/guardians, and community members interested in participating in the CHS Football Program!
No Experience Necessary & New Players Welcome!
All parents of current players, and parents of kids who may be interested need to be present!

CHS Cheer and CHS Dance Team will be participating as vendors for face painting, etc. The Dance Team will also be involved with the pies, and we’re super hopeful our dino dashers, from CCSC faculty, will be back in action, too!
Danville Area Community College is sponsoring a College For Kids Camp in June and July. Please stop by the office to pick up a flyer if you are interested.
All middle school library books need to be returned by Friday, May 13th. If you need a book to read after May 13th, you will have to borrow one from your teacher’s classroom or the public library.
All current 7th and 8th grade students who are interested in a career in law enforcement, Indiana Sheriffs Association is hosting a Leadership Camp at Pine Creek Campgrounds on June 13th through June 16th or Waycross Episcopal Camp on June 28th through June 30th. If you would like an application they will be posted in the office, for additional information contact Mrs. Young.
Attention current 6th and 7th grade girls interested in participating in middle school cheer next year. Please sign up and grab a flyer from the office. Sign ups are open until May 13th!
Parents:
Please send in/email proof of residency for your student (if you haven’t already). Document must have your address and a current date on it. Examples are a current utility bill, telephone bill, tax return, medical bill or similar information that provides a verifiable address with a clearly identified and readable date.
