Tekton is Greek for craftsman/skilled builder. The Trojan Tektons is a group of 7th and 8th grade students that focuses on building leadership skills through service oriented activities. If you’d like to build leadership skills and do service oriented activities for your school and community…please get an application from the front office.
If you’re interested in being on Middle School Student Council, please see your Language Arts teacher for a form. Forms are due back to your Language Arts teacher today. We will vote next week on Student Council members. Any student who is quarantined who is interested in Student Council, please email Mrs. Sarah Martin to get a form.
After school homework help will be on Mondays in Mrs. Craft’s room, Tuesdays in Mrs. S. Martin’s room, and Thursdays in Mrs. Slider’s room from 3:00 – 4:00.

Donations of new and gently used winter coats (adult and children’s sizes) are
being sought for a community coat give-away scheduled next month in
Covington.
Donations may be dropped off between September 27th and October 8th at the
following locations during regular business hours:
Centre Bank, 315 Washington Street
Covington City Building, 329 Washington Street
Covington Public Library, 622 Fifth Street
Covington County Market, 301 Third Street
First Church of Christ Office, 619 Fifth Street
Industrial Federal Credit Union, 413 Washington Street
McDonald’s, 221 Pearl Street
Old National Bank, 401 Washington Street
Purdue University Extension Office, Lower Level of Court House, 301 Fourth Street
The Fountain Trust Company, 615 Third Street
Weather permitting, a coat collection day is scheduled October 9th from 9:00 am to
1:00 pm outside Casey’s General Store, 311 Pearl Street.
Coats will be distributed to area residents in need on a first come, first serve basis
while supplies last October 19th through 22nd at the Covington First Church of
Christ, 615 Fifth Street.
The coat give-away is being hosted by the First Church of Christ. Additional
information is available from the coat drive coordinator at (765) 793-7285.
Any 6th grader interested in youth football should stop by the office to pick up a flyer.
Student…you are not allowed to go to your locker before 7:50. If you get to school before 7:50 and you enter the building, you must go to the cafeteria.
