The Senior Class will meet during Home Room in the Commons on Thursday, Aug. 19 to organize for the year.

The current Attica Heritage Days’ queens are hosting a pageant ice cream social on August 21st from 1:00-3:00 pm, at Suzie Q’s Drive-In.

Covington came out with great energy to start our inaugural Girl’s season, holding a very solid West Vigo team to a scoreless half. Despite taking a 2-1 lead early in the second half (after goals from Kennedie Cadman and Bernadette Goeppner), a talented West Vigo midfield managed to put 3 goals past us late in the game to complete their comeback and secure a 4-2 away win.

A lot of positivity to take away from our first game, but the girls will certainly be hungry to get the win this Saturday against Rensselaer Central.

Congratulations to the boys tennis team for their opening win last night against Terre Haute North Vigo High School. Covington won 3-1. Varsity winners were Evan Norton, Calvin Springer, Nolan Potter, and Myles Potter.

The girls golf team competed in the bi-county at Harrison Hills. While no made the all bi-county they improved by seven shots over last week’s match. Congratulations to Chloe Martin and Sydni Crain for scoring career low rounds in Competition.
