Covington High School Announcements

“Every Trojan Connected” Program
Covington Community School Corporation has a new program for students that do not have Internet access at home. “Every Trojan Connected” offers a limited number of free wireless hotspots for students who demonstrate a need for Internet access to assist with their school work beyond the regular school day. The program is open to any Covington student that is currently enrolled and attending one of the three district schools. Veteran’s Day Program this Friday at 9am in the varsity gym.

Seniors: Permission forms and information about the class photo are due by this Friday, November 11. You can pick up a form in the office or in the following room: Sebastian, Cross, Stockberger.

Doug’s Studio will be here from 11:00 A.M. to approximately 12:30 P.M. on Thursday, December 1st to take senior portraits. These pictures are for the yearbook, wall composite, and announcing graduates in the newspapers. Please be sure to dress appropriately (guys in collared shirts and ties and girls school appropriate). If you are absent that day, you will need to contact Doug’s Studio to set up an appointment to get your picture taken.

Student council is putting on a Fall/Winter door decorating contest.
Homeroom/classroom with the BEST door, will receive a pizza party.
Doors are due at the end of the day Friday December 9th.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, the National Honor Society will once again provide one hundred Thanksgiving meals for families and individuals in need.
No sign ups are required, just come by the Methodist Church at 419 Washington Street on Saturday, November 19, from 8:00 a.m. until noon to get a complete Thanksgiving dinner!

Any junior or senior interested in meeting with a representative from one of the following colleges need to sign up on the google sheet that was shared with you. All visits will be in the glass room during homeroom.
