Covington High School Announcements

The Senior Homecoming Float Committee will organize on Tuesday, Sept.13 during Home Room
in the Commons.

Seniors: You MUST order your Powder Puff Shirt by Wednesday. You must pay
$ 5.00 when you order. Contact Aubrey Allison to order. No late orders can be accepted.

High School picture day is Wednesday, September 14th. Seniors will need to get their picture taken for an ID card only. Doug’s Studio will come at a later date to take yearbook pictures.

The high school office is now selling snacks for $1 each. They have:
Doritos, Flamin hot cheetos, iced animal crackers, Muddy buddies, scooby cinnamon snacks, fruit snacks, whit cheddar popcorn, and chocolate tiger grahams.

Any Junior or Senior interested in going to the DACC College Fair on September 15, needs to sign the google sheet Mrs. Brown shared with you and pick up a permission slip in the guidance office. Must sign up by September 9th to attend.

Covington at Lafayette Jefferson Booster Club Invitational. Covington placed 3rd
1. Harrison 53 #1 singles – Evan Norton placed 5th

2. Culver 36 #2 singles – Urban Roarks placed 3rd
3. Covington 22 #3 singles – Emmett Reynolds placed 6th
4. Plymouth 20 #1 doubles – Myles Potter & Jackson Kindell
5. Lafayette Jeff 19 placed 3rd
6. Crawfordsville 14 #2 doubles – Carson Schaeffer, Aiden Miller,
7. McCutcheon 11 Luke Holycross placed 4th

The Girls Golf Team competed in the WRC tournament and came away with a fourth place finish. Sydni Crain was medalist carding a round of 89, Glennys McGurk 128, Kendall Shumaker 133, Haley Nichols 141, and Lydia Bennett 139. The team will play Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with sectionals on Saturday.
