Covington High School Announcements

ALL SENIORS should check their school email DURING HOMEROOM for a link to vote for class officers.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be having their first meeting Wednesday August 31 in room 205, Coach Field’s room. All students invited. Meeting is from
2:40-3:15.

Yearbooks will be handed out today during
homeroom in Mr. Craig Sowers’ room.

High School picture day is Wednesday, September 14th. Seniors will need to get their picture taken for an ID card only. Doug’s Studio will come at a later date to take yearbook pictures.

Any junior or senior interested in meeting with a representative from one of the following colleges need to sign up on the google sheet that was shared with you. All visits will be in the glass room during homeroom.
9/7 – Wabash College (Males only)
9/19 – Ball State University
9/26 – Marian University

Any Junior or Senior interested in going to the DACC College Fair on September 15, needs to sign the google sheet Mrs. Brown shared with you and pick up a permission slip in the guidance office. Must sign up by September 9th to attend.

Band shirts are on sale in the BAND ROOM.

The boys tennis team won the Western Boone Invitational Saturday for the second straight year by beating Southmont 4-1, Western Boone 3-2, and Lawrence Central 5-0.
Individual champ at #2 singles was Urban Roarks
Individual champ at #3 singles was Emmett Reynolds
individual champs at #1 doubles were Myles Potter & Jackson Kindell

 Also winning matches were Evan Norton, Carson Schaeffer, Bleron Saliji, and Aiden Miller
