Covington High School Announcements

It’s that time of year again to bring in all your loose change and extra dollars! The 2021 Homecoming Kiss the Pig contest starts Tuesday, September 7th through Friday, September 10th. Vote for your favorite senior football player to kiss the pig during the pep session on 9/10 by dropping your change/dollars into his jar in the office. The player with the most money in his jar will have the honor of giving a sweet, little pig a big smooch!

The annual Powderpuff Games will be on Wednesday, September 8th beginning at 6pm. The Juniors v. Freshmen and Sophomores v Seniors games will happen simultaneously this year with the Championship afterwards! A small community pep session will follow the games along with the annual fire truck parade! Admission into the Powderpuff games will be $2, and sports passes will not be accepted. CHS Students in their class shirt (or color) will get in free!

Float building will be saturday @12 pm at Lauren Vale’s house. We are hoping to finish the float! Also, we have a few extra Powder Puff t-shirts if you forgot to order yours. First come first serve

Any junior or senior interested in meeting with one of the following colleges need to sign up on the google sheet Mrs. Brown shared with you:

9/17 – Indiana State University
9/28 – Wabash College (guys only)
10/8 – Ivy Tech
All meetings will be held during homeroom in the glass room.

Carry out.
$7 for adult $5 through grade 5 $3 extra sandwich

The 2021 Covington Athletic Department Golf Scramble will be held on Sunday, September 19th at Rivercrest Golf Course @1:00 pm.
