Covington High School Announcements

• The Volleyball team is selling Danville Gardens hanging baskets just in time for Mother’s day!  Order forms are in the HS office or you can reach out to one of the players.  Money and orders are due Friday April 28th. 

• IF YOU HAVE AN OVERDUE LIBRARY BOOK, PLEASE RETURN BY TOMORROW, APRIL 14th TO AVOID LATE FEES.  CHECK YOUR EMAIL!!!!!!!!!!!

• TODAY IS THE VERY LAST DAY TO PURCHASE PROM TICKETS!!!    Please see Mrs. Hohenstein to purchase your ticket(s).  TABLES ARE FILLING UP FAST!!!

• Covington Crazy Clovers next 4-H meeting will be Monday, April 17th at 6:00 in Miss Davis’ classroom. 

If you are driving a vehicle to school and do not have a parking tag for it, please come to the high school office and get a parking tag. THEY ARE FREE!!

The 2022-23 CHS Yearbook is on sale now thru April 15th.  The cost is $50.  You may see Mr. Craig Sowers for an order form, or pick one up in the high school office.  You may also order online at yearbookforever.com

OPPORTUNITY

SPORTS NEWS:

The track team competed in a 3-team meet with Seeger & Attica last night.  The boys’ and girls’ team both finished 2nd as a team.  Congrats to the following event winners:  Averey Powell in the 100 & 200, Bradley Lewsader in the high jump, the 4×100 relay of Ashlynn Livengood, Keira Smith, Kennedie Cadman & Greta Smith, the 4×800 relay of Bradley Lewsader, Asher Cadman, Austin Bechtold & Wyatt Woodrow, and the 4×400 relay of Bradley Lewsader, Austin Bechtold, Wyatt Woodrow & Averey Powell.  The next meet is Monday at home against Bismarck Henning, Armstrong & Parke Heritage.

The girls tennis team lost to Seeger last night 2-3.  Varsity winners were Addison Streuer, Lilly Hacquet, Trinity Cope, Isabella Lynch.  JV winners were Jayln Allen, Hope Smaltz, Makiah Glidewell, Sidney McCullough.
