Working Together for Children

NO after school tutoring on Monday, Oct. 11th.

School will be in regular session on Monday, Oct. 11.
ELearning Days will be October 12 & 13.
FALL BREAK OCT 14 AND OCT 15 NO SCHOOL!

CES BOOK FAIR WILL BE COMING THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 25.

If your child has congestion, runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever, or headache please do NOT send them to school. They will be sent home. Please plan a minimum of 48 hours and then call the attendance line with a full report before sending them back to school. The attendance line may be utilized 24/7. Thank you for your cooperation. We need a proof of residency. Please bring in a document (ex: utility, cell phone, hospital bill) with your current address, you may also send it in with your child.

CROSSING GUARDS AND CAR RIDER DOORS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 7:50 – 8:00 IN THE MORNING. After this time, please drive around to the front of the building to drop off your child for school.

TRANSPORTATION CHANGES NEED TO BE SENT TO THE CHILD’S TEACHER. WE WILL NOT ALLOW STUDENTS TO CHANGE HIS/HER REGULAR ROUTINE WITHOUT A NOTE OR PHONE CALL TO THE OFFICE. THIS IS FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD/REN. DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT A REGULAR BUS RIDER HE/SHE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RIDE THE BUS FOR REASONS SUCH AS SLEEPOVERS OR BIRTHDAY PARTIES, ETC.

TREATS BROUGHT IN FOR THE STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BE PRE-PACKAGED FROM A STORE…

The annual winter coat give-away in Covington will take place October 19th through October 22nd, 9:00am to 3:00pm (EDT), in the fellowship hall at the First Church of Christ, 615 Fifth street. New and gently used coats (adult and children sizes). Facemasks are required.

Covington Community Foundation will be having Family Night on October 6 at the Beef House Banquet Hall.
Professor Steve’s Unseen Forces Show will begin 5:45pm (EST).
Soup-Sandwich-Drink will be included
Doors will open at 4:30pm
Seating is limited and all tickets much be purchased in advance. Tickets for Adults: $5.00 and children are FREE!
