Working Together for Children
Covington Community Schools are raising funds to help Ukrainian refugees through a money drive.
Students will bring in money or change until Thursday, April 14. The classroom with the most money collected will win donuts on April 19. Our goal is to raise $1500 in two weeks.
ILEARN WINDOW WILL OPEN MONDAY, APRIL 18 FOR 3RD, 4TH AND 5TH GRADES. WE WILL HAVE MORE INFO LATER AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE 18TH.

Covington Community Schools will not be making up the snow day. We will continue to keep the current flex days.
Trojan Cards are on sale now for $7.00.
We need your Proof of Residency; this is being required by the State of Indiana. Please bring in a document (ex: utility, cell phone, hospital bill) with your current address and dated within 60 days, you may also send it in with your child.
We also need a Birth Certificate, it may be one they give you from the hospital.
If your child has congestion, runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or headache please do NOT send them to school. They will be sent home. Please plan a minimum of 48 hours and then call the attendance line with a full report before sending them back to school. The attendance line may be utilized 24/7. Thank you for your cooperation. CROSSING GUARDS AND CAR RIDER DOORS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 7:50 – 8:00 IN THE MORNING. After this time, please drive around to the front of the building to drop off your child for school.
TRANSPORTATION CHANGES NEED TO BE SENT TO THE CHILD’S TEACHER. WE WILL NOT ALLOW STUDENTS TO CHANGE HIS/HER REGULAR ROUTINE WITHOUT A NOTE OR PHONE CALL TO THE OFFICE. THIS IS FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD/REN. DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT A REGULAR BUS RIDER HE/SHE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RIDE THE BUS FOR REASONS SUCH AS SLEEPOVERS OR BIRTHDAY PARTIES, ETC.

The Covington Community Foundation will be hosting its Spring Family Night program at the Beef House Banquet Hall on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Doors will open @4:30p.m. with soup, sandwich, and drinks until the entertainment starts at 5:45p.m. The entertainment for the evening will be Magician C.R. Ryan & Sons. Tickets are $5 for adults, kids are FREE (high school age and younger). Kids must have a free ticket to enter. DONKEY BASKETBALL IS BACK!
Mark your calendars now for this fun-filled night of hilarious, family friendly action! Join us on Wednesday, May 4 in the CMS gym at 7:00p.m. as Covington’s American Legion Post 291 kicks off their fundraising efforts for the cabin in the city park. All children 12 and under will receive FREE donkey rides at intermission. Presale tickets are $8 and tickets at the door are $10. Children under 5 are free. Ticket forms will be sent home soon and will be available at Juli’s Java.
