Progress Reports were sent home this week.

Fannie May Fundraiser has begun 2/10! Money and order forms are due Friday, February 25. YEARBOOKS ARE ON SALE NOW AND ONLY $15.00 each!

Covington Community Schools will not be making up the snow day. We will continue to keep the current flex days.

FLEX DAY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18TH NO SCHOOL PRESIDENT’S DAY MONDAY, FEBRARY 21sr NO SCHOOL

Valentine’s Day — Please remember students may NOTtake glass vases and balloons on the bus. Trojan Cards are on sale now for $7.00.

The mandate for masking on a bus has been extended through Spring Break.

We need your Proof of Residency. Please bring in a document (ex: utility, cell phone, hospital bill) with your current address, you may also send it in with your child.

We also need a Birth Certificate, it may be one they give you from the hospital.

A letter has been mailed for the items above, if you have not provided them to the office. Not everyone will receive the letter.

If your child has congestion, runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or headache please do NOT send them to school. They will be sent home. Please plan a minimum of 48 hours and then call the attendance Jlne with a fu/f report before sending them back to school. The attendance line may be utilized 24/7. Thank you for your cooperation. CROSSING GUARDS AND CAR RIDER DOORS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 7:50 – 8:00 IN THE MORNING. After this time,

please drive around to the front of the building to drop off your child for school.

TRANSPORTATION CHANGES NEED TO BE SENT TO THE CHILD’S TEACHER WE WILL NOT ALLOW STUDENTS TO CHANGE HIS/HER REGULAR ROUTINE WITHOUT A NOTE OR PHONE CALL TO THE OFFICE. THIS IS FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD/REN. DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT A REGULAR BUS RIDER HE/SHE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RIDE THE BUS FOR REASONS SUCH AS SLEEPOVERS OR BIRTHDAY PARTIES, ETC.

The 2022 CHS Cheer Clinic will take place Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30

p.m. in the High School MPR. Check in begins at 9:00 a.m.

Covington Youth Baseball League Clinic registration:

PeeWee!Tee Ball ages 3-6 Minor/Major ages 7-12

Cost is $30.00 – Please make checks out to Covington Youth Baseball League or CYBL. Bring form along with pavment to the 1st clinic, Feb. 12, 2022.
