Thanksgiving Break…..No School November 24-26

If your child has congestion, runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever, or headache please do NOT send them to school. They will be sent home. Please plan a minimum of 48 hours and then call the attendance line with a full report before sending them back to school. The attendance line may be utilized 24/7. Thank you for your cooperation. We need a proof of residency. Please bring in a document (ex: utility, cell phone, hospital bill) with your current address, you may also send it in with your child.

CROSSING GUARDS AND CAR RIDER DOORS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 7:50 – 8:00 IN THE MORNING. After this time, please drive around to the front of the building to drop off your child for school.

TRANSPORTATION CHANGES NEED TO BE SENT TO THE CHILD’S TEACHER. WE WILL NOT ALLOW STUDENTS TO CHANGE HIS/HER REGULAR ROUTINE WITHOUT A NOTE OR PHONE CALL TO THE OFFICE. THIS IS FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD/REN. DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT A REGULAR BUS RIDER HE/SHE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RIDE THE BUS FOR REASONS SUCH AS SLEEPOVERS OR BIRTHDAY PARTIES, ETC.

TREATS BROUGHT IN FOR THE STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BE PRE-PACKAGED FROM A STORE

All Covington Elementary students will improve their math problem skills across the curriculum. All Covington Elementary students will improve their reading comprehension skills across the curriculum

CES CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Our program will be on 2 different nights.

Kindergarten – 2nd grade – Thursday, Dec. 16
6:00 – 6:45 p.m. (EST)

3rd – 5th grade Friday, Dec. 17 from 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. (EST)

Each child may have 2 adults in attendance and all siblings 18 and under may attend. The performances will be conducted in the Elementary gym.

CES program will be live-streamed for those family members who are unable to attend.
