Good morning CMS

Lunch today is Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwich with Broccoli and Cheese.
Breakfast on Monday will be Yogurt with Graham Crackers.

The 8th grade boys basketball team ended their season last Thursday.  They finished 13-4.  Players were Seth Ellmore, Landon Herzog, Coy Martin, Nash Martin. (7th graders that played up were Kayden Smith, Creux Rieman, and Beau Bishop.)

The 7th grade boys basketball team team ended their season last Thursday.  They finished 6-9.  Players were Kaden Smith, Creux Rieman, Beau Bishop, Andrew Wright, Conor Maertens, Riddley Keele, Kingston Waddell, AJ Asbury, Blaine Hacquet, and Gavin Guthrie.

7th and 8th grade Middle School Baseball callout is today, Friday, January 21st during lunch. Sign up forms and information will be passed out to those interested.

The 2022 CHS Cheer Clinic will take place Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in the High School MPR. Check in begins at 9:00 am. Participants must be registered by January 26th to guarantee a t-shirt. Walk-ins are welcome on the day of, but will not receive a t-shirt that day. PreK through 8th graders are welcome! Stop by the office to pick up a registration form if you are interested.

Middle School Student Council will be sponsoring a middle school semi-formal dance on Saturday, January 29th, in the Middle School Gym from 6-8. Cost to enter is $5…tickets will be sold at the door. Only students in 6th-8th grade from Covington are allowed to attend. The theme of the dance is masquerade. The concession stand will be selling food and drinks during the dance. You can also purchase pictures for $1 each, so make sure to bring extra money if you want food, drinks, or pictures!

Attention 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Girls:
The CHS Dance Team Winter Dance Clinic 2022 is scheduled for Saturday, January 22nd from noon to 2:00 pm in the MPR. For more information…stop by the middle school office to pick up a registration form.

Please send in/email proof of residency for your student (if you haven’t already). Document must have your address and a current date on it. Examples are a current utility bill, telephone bill, tax return, medical bill or similar information that provides a verifiable address with a clearly identified and readable date.
