ATTENTION 8th Grade Students and Parents:
Due to the current situation with Covid-19 and the Omicron variant, this year’s trip to Washington DC and Gettysburg is canceled.

Lunch today is Chicken Fajitas, Black Beans, Lettuce, Cheese, Salsa, Sour Cream and Ranch.
Breakfast tomorrow will be Sausage and Cheese Biscuit.

The 2022 CHS Cheer Clinic will take place Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in the High School MPR. Check in begins at 9:00 am. Participants must be registered by January 26th to guarantee a t-shirt. Walk-ins are welcome on the day of, but will not receive a t-shirt that day. PreK through 8th graders are welcome! Stop by the office to pick up a registration form if you are interested.

The 4-H enrollment deadline is today, January 18th. If you have any questions please contact Miss Davis.

Homecoming Dress up Days:
Tuesday – Monochromatic Day (wear one color)
Wednesday – Hat Day
Thursday – Tie-dye Day
Friday – Crazie Black and Gold Day

ATTENTION 8th GRADE STUDENTS AND PARENTS:
Final payment for the Washington DC trip is due January 28th.
Student price is $500 ($300 after deposit)
Adult price is $650 ($450 after deposit)

Also, all adults are required to complete a background check.

Middle School Student Council will be sponsoring a middle school semi-formal dance on Saturday, January 29th, in the Middle School Gym from 6-8. Cost to enter is $5…tickets will be sold at the door. Only students in 6th-8th grade from Covington are allowed to attend. The theme of the dance is masquerade. The concession stand will be selling food and drinks during the dance. You can also purchase pictures for $1 each, so make sure to bring extra money if you want food, drinks, or pictures!

Attention 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Girls:
The CHS Dance Team Winter Dance Clinic 2022 is scheduled for Saturday, January 22nd from noon to 2:00 pm in the MPR. For more information…stop by the middle school office to pick up a registration form.

Please send in/email proof of residency for your student (if you haven’t already). Document must have your address and a current date on it. Examples are a current utility bill, telephone bill, tax return, medical bill or similar information that provides a verifiable address with a clearly identified and readable date.
