Football Team will meet in the Student Lounge during Homeroom today.
The volleyball team finished their regular season last night by beating Crawfordsville in 3 sets. Lauren O’Neill had 21 kills and 2 blocks. Nai’a Pettit had 11 kills. Hope and Holly Linville each had 8 kills and Karsyn Engle had 41 assists and 14 digs. Great game girls
The Cross Country Sectional is Saturday at Benton Central. The Boys race starts at 10:30. The Girls race starts at 11:30. Admission is $5.00 per person.
The Cross Country team needs your support at this meet. Make plans now to attend.
Senior football players, football managers, dancers, cheerleaders and senior band members and their parents will be recognized at this Friday night’s football game against Tri-County. Recognition will take place before the game. We ask parents of these seniors to be at the complex by 6:30 to line up. Please meet at the north end of the home bleachers; recognition will start at 6:45.
There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes 5th quarter Friday after the football game at the Complex. All high school and middle school students invited.
The Covington and Fountain Central Music Departments are having their 2nd Annual “Pack the House” night with the Danville Dashers on November 8th. Watch the Danville Dashers take on the Danbury Titans all while supporting your music department! Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased from Mrs. Gee at the front desk!.

4-H Jr Leader Kickoff on Monday October 14th at 6:30 pm will be held at the Fountain County Fairgrounds.
The academic juniors are hosting a Parents’ Night Out, Kids’ Night In fun night to raise money for the Gettysburg trip! The activity night is for grades k-5 and will be on Saturday, October 19th
from 6:00-8:30 P.M. Sign your child in at 5:45 at the atrium entrance. Join the high schoolers for a night filled with games, snacks, and fun! The cost is $10 per student.

It’s here! 4-H enrollment has officially started for the 2020 fair year, and we want you to be a part of it.

The 4-H program prides itself on teaching your child responsibility and hard work while also building and contributing to our community. So which 4-H program is right for your kiddo? Fountain County Mighty Mini 4-H is open to all kids currently enrolled in 1st & 2nd grades. Regular 4-H is open to all kids currently enrolled in 3rd thru 12th grades. We offer over 50 different projects for kids to choose from ranging from model rockets and cake decorating to legos and arts and crafts. With a wide array of projects there is literally something for everyone, and we at the Extension Office (765-793-6240) would be happy to go through all the projects that we offer to see what is the best fit for your kiddo.

The City of Covington is collecting new and gently used winter coats (adult and children
sizes) for its annual coat give-away this fall.
As before, we especially need children’s washable coats sizes infant
through 16, and all sizes of coats for men and women.”
Coats may be brought to the City Building, 1329 Second Street, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm
(EDT) weekdays. The city is also accepting monetary donations for the purchase of winter
