Covington High School Announcements
Varsity Football scrimmage tonight at Riverton Parke at 7:00.
Volleyball scrimmage tomorrow morning at 10:00 against Twin Lakes.
Our CHS Lady Trojan golfers won their first matches of the season last night as they defeated Attica and Fountain Central. They lost to Western Boone and Seeger. Corinne Moore led the way with a 54 on a very tough Harrison Hills course. Way to win your first matches in history.
We will vote Monday during homeroom for student council representatives/class officers. You will be sent an email with a link to vote.
There will be a student council meeting Thursday, August 22 during homeroom in Mrs. Martin’s room (middle school room 106).
There will be a Senior Class Meeting Tuesday, August 20 during Homeroom in the student commons.
Soccer TShirt order forms are in the high school office. Orders are due on Monday, August 19.
We are looking for student tutors! Sign-up in the guidance office if interested.
FCA Wednesday morning breakfasts will start on Wednesday, August 28th at 7am in Coach Sowers’ room. All middle school and high school students are welcome to come!
High School Student Council applications have been emailed to you and are available in the high school office. Please return these to Mrs. Martin no later than today at 3pm. Elections will be next week.
Senior fall Athletes, please bring a baby picture for the Fall Sports program by Monday, August 19. Turn them into Mrs.Linville in the high school office.

Covington High School Athletic Department will be hosting the 1st Annual
All Sports Golf Scramble on Sunday, September 22. Start time is 1:00. It
is a Fundraiser to support all Covington High School and Middle School Athletic programs. Entry forms are available in the high school office.
Photographers from Doug’s Studio will be here on Wednesday, August 28th and 29th to take team
And ndividual pictures. Student athletes will be able to purchase team and/or individual pictures by
completing the necessary order form and enclosing payment.
