Covington High School Announcements
The Varsity and JV girls defeated the North Montgomery Chargers last night. JV won big by playing great team defense. The Varsity won a close 34 – 32. Briley Peyton tied the game at 32 with a big 3. Shiann Haymaker and Karsyn Engle both hit a free throw to put us up two. We were led in scoring by Lily Hacquet with 12. Great job by all our girls!!
The wrestling team competed hard last night but dropped a close one to South Vermillion 39-27. Winning for the Trojans were Emmett Reynolds, Conor Winn, Gavin Williamson, Alex Black, Kaedeyn Lawson, and Nate Sly. The Trojan wrestlers will compete tomorrow (Saturday) in their home Trojan Duals event.

should plan on taking the SAT. We will be offering the SAT on the
morning of Wednesday, March 3rd. Interested juniors should
sign-up on the Google Sheet (titled “SAT School Day) that was
shared with you. The cost is $52 – the deadline for signing up and
paying is January 28th.

The 7th & 8th grade boys basketball team traveled to North Vermillion last night for their season opening games. The 7th grade boys lost a close game 30-31 and the 8th grade boys cruised to a 51-12 victory. The Trojans will host Seeger next Monday evening at 6pm.
