2018/2019 yearbooks are on sale. You can either visit yearbookforever.com or see Mr. Sowers for a paper order form. The price is $45 until December 21 when it goes up to $50.

The Covington Music Boosters are selling tickets to the Danville Dashers “Pack the House” Night on Saturday, December 1st at 8 PM Indiana time. This is a rivalry night between Covington and Fountain Central to see who can pack the house with the most students. Spirit and halftime competitions will be held during the Dashers game.
Tickets are only $5, available in the HS Office. Show some Trojan pride, cheer on the Dashers, and pack the arena with black and gold!
The sophomore presentation for the CTE (vocational) programs will be at 1:00 on Tuesday, Nov. 27th in the MPR. All sophomores will attend. Any junior interested in attending should see Mrs. Myers by Monday, November 26th.
Crazies shirts for the 2018-2019 basketball season are now on sale, and order forms can be found in the High School offices. All orders must be turned in by lunch-time today. Shirts will be handed out on Tuesday, November 20.
The 2019-2020 FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) is now open. Any senior planning on continuing their education after high school should plan on filing the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
The SAT will be offered at Covington High School the morning of March 6th. The cost is $47.50, payable to Covington High School. There are fee waivers available for those students who qualify on a first come basis. Students planning on taking this test should sign-up in the guidance office and pay Mrs. Gee by Wednesday, January 9th.
Ivy Tech Lafayette is hosting College 101 Night for students and parents on November 15th, 6-8 pm. Students and parents will learn about high demand and high wage jobs, the Accelerated Associate Degree, scholarships, FAFSA and dual credit. RSVP at www.ivytech.edu/college101. 6th grade boys basketball defeated Crawfordsville last night 37-18. The B-team won a thriller in overtime 31-25. The team improved their record to 7-0. Next game is here at CMS tomorrow night at 6pm, vs Attica.
The 2018 CHS “Hugs Not Drugs” Cheer Clinic will be on Saturday, December 15th from 10:30-1:00pm with registration/check in beginning at 10:00am in the MPR. Please join the CHS cheerleaders for a morning full of cheer technique, jumps, and cheers. Participants will perform during the JV halftime on December 15th. Registration forms can be picked up in the middle school office and are due November 27th to guarantee a T-shirt. Cost is $18.00.
Any 8th grade girl who would be interested in playing on the high school girl’s golf team next fall, sign up in the middle school office.

4:00 pm (EST) weekdays, at the City Building, 1329 Second Street.
Free gently used and new coats for children and adults are being distributed on a first come,
first serve basis to area residents in need. The give-away will continue while the supply of coats
