    Track practice begins Monday. Please plan for practice to be outside at the track. Practice will begin at 3:20 and will end around 4:15.

    TEXTBOOK RENTAL CAN BE PAID BY SENDING AN ENVELOPE WITH YOUR CHILD OR THROUGH HARMONY3 ON OUR SCHOOL WEBSITE.

    ABSENCES—–PLEASE CALL AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE, BEFORE 9A.M. 765-793-2254. USING THE PROMPTS #3 FOR CES THEN #1 TO LEAVE A DETAILED MESSAGE FOR NURSE PINKERTON. PLEASE INCLUDE… CHILD’S SYMPTOMS AND WHETHER THEY HAVE A FEVER OVER 100.4. USING THIS PROCEDURE WILL SAVE MANY PHONE CALLS BACK AND FORTH TO FIND OUT THIS INFORMATION. THIS CAN BE DONE AT ANYTIME DAY/NIGHT – THE EARLIER THE PARENT CALLS WILL GIVE THE NURSE TIME TO MAKE DECISIONS. THANK YOU!

    FACE MASKS MUST BE WASHED DAILY!

    *Due to social distancing protocols, the doors will remained locked until 7:45am. Students will not be allowed in the building prior to this time! Once inside the building, students are asked to report directly to their classroom.

    CROSSING GUARDS AND CAR RIDER DOORS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 7:50 – 8:00 IN THE MORNING. After this time, please drive around to the front of the building to drop off your child for school.

    TRANSPORTATION CHANGES NEED TO BE SENT TO THE CHILD’S TEACHER. WE WILL NOT ALLOW STUDENTS TO CHANGE HIS/HER REGULAR ROUTINE WITHOUT A NOTE OR PHONE CALL TO THE OFFICE. THIS IS FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD/REN. DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT A REGULAR BUS RIDER HE/SHE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RIDE THE BUS FOR REASONS SUCH AS SLEEPOVERS OR BIRTHDAY PARTIES, ETC.

    TREATS BROUGHT IN FOR THE STUDENTS NEED TO BE PRE-PACKAGED FROM A STORE. PLEASE REMEMBER FOR PROTOCOL THE TREATS MUST SIT IN THE OFFICE FOR 2 DAYS BEFORE GIVING TO THE CLASSROOM.
    All Covington Elementary students will improve their math problem skills across the curriculum. All Covington Elementary students will improve their reading comprehension skills across the curriculum
    SPRING 2021 Covington Trojans Youth Football League
    League will be for PK to 6th grade. There will be 2 practices a week and games on Saturdays. Spring season will be a 6 week season, practices will start March 15, with games starting April 3 and ending May 15. Packets were sent home on Friday.
