Today

Girls Basketball team should report to the Varsity Gym during Home Room today.

Members of the Senior Play should meet in Mrs. Willis’s room today during Home Room. Everyone should plan to attend.

This is a reminder that if you are coming to school tomorrow and/or Thursday, you must report to the high school

office to sign in when you arrive, and sign out when you leave.

Any girl interested in being a high school cheerleader for the 2019-2020 school year should sign-up and pick up a packet in the office. Please read the entire packet as there is important information regarding tryout requirements. Practices will start April 1st, and tryouts are on Friday, April 19th at 3:30pm

Seniors: you must have a baby/childhood and a senior picture for the graduation program. Pictures are due to Gabby or Shyanne Steward before Spring Break.

This Month

FFA Members: the chapter field trip to Fair Oaks Dairy is April 3rd.

Snacks will be available after school every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for any Winter athlete who would like one. They will be passed out in the hallway by the locker rooms from 3:00 to 3:05pm.

Any student interested in taking the driving portion of drivers ed here this summer, please sign up in the guidance office. You must be 15 by April 26th to enroll.

2018/2019 yearbooks are on sale. You can either visit yearbookforever.com or see Mr. Sowers for a paper order form.

The 2019-2020 FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) is now open. Any senior planning on continuing their education after high school should plan on filing the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

REMINDERS:

8th Grade spring pictures are scheduled for Wednesday, April 3rd. Group photo will be taken at 8:30 followed by those students wanting individual pictures. Order forms are available in the middle school office.

It’s not too late to sign up for track. Pick up a track paper in the middle school office.

TALKS Leadership/Mentoring Students — The trip to the nursing home has been rescheduled to 4/3/19. Pick up new permission forms to go to the nursing home from the office. Forms will be due back ASAP.

image.pngThe CMS Trojan Tektons are sponsoring a food drive from March 11th to March 15th. Boxed food and canned goods will be collected in the Language Arts classrooms. There will be a prize to the grade that brings in the most items. All food collected in this food drive will go to the Covington and Veedersburg food pantries!!
Food Drive for CMS will continue through today. Let’s try to get each grade to bring at least 100 items.

Kindergarten screening for next year’s students will be on Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12. Our current Kindergarten classes will NOT attend on these days.
