SENIORS: Float building will be today starting at 4pm at the north building where the buses park.
It’s that time of year again to bring in all your loose change! The 2020 Homecoming Kiss the Pig contest is on now through Wednesday, September 30th. Vote for your favorite senior football player to kiss the pig during the pep session next week by dropping your change/dollars into his jar in the office. The player with the most money in his jar will have the honor of giving a sweet, little pig a big smooch!

The Covington United Methodist Church is coordinating the 2020 Community Winter Coat Give-A-Way that will take place on Tuesday, October 13th through Friday, October 16th at the Fountain County Courthouse from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm each day or while supplies last.
New and gently used coats for adults and children will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.
In order to support their efforts, the Covington Community School Corporation will be collecting coats on Wednesday, September 23rd through Friday, September 25th. The collection box will be positioned on the back patio of the former Administration Office (the white house) located at 1022 6th Street.
Please bring your new or clean & gently used coats to this location and simply place them in the collection box. A member of the church will come and collect the items daily.

BACKGROUND CHECKS for parents wanting to go on field trips can be obtained through the school website under the Superintendent’s tab. There is a fee for the process. Background checks are good for 2 years.
THE WINTER SEASON IS UPON US. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS WEARING A WINTER COAT TO SCHOOL. IF HE/SHE DOES NOT HAVE A WINTER COAT AND IS IN NEED, PLEASE NOTIFY THE OFFICE. IN ADDITION, CHILDREN WEARING SHORTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO OUTSIDE FOR RECESS UNLESS THEY HAVE A PAIR OF PANTS TO PUT OVER THEIR SHORTS.
