Our CHS golf team dropped a close match to South Vermillion last night 183-193. Medalist for the match was Nolan Potter who shot 38. Ethan Johnson shot 48 to help the Trojans. The team will host Benton Central at Rivercrest tomorrow at 3:30 and then compete in the WRC and Sectional next week. Go Trojans.
The Covington girls tennis team lost to Terre Haute South in the regional last night. The girls finished the season with a 15-1 record. Congratulations girls.
The Covington National Honor Society will be having a short service at the Covington VFW on 10:00 Memorial Day. We will be laying a wreath at Josh Witsman’s sign and remember those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. The public is invited.
The high school locker rooms need to be cleaned out by the end of school on Wednesday. Anything left will be thrown out.
Any student wanting to discuss summer school options should see Mrs. Myers ASAP. Registration deadline is May 23rd.

9-10 AM – grades 1 to 6 (2019-2020)
10-11 AM – grades 7 to 9 (2019-2020)

A summer camp will be offered to 7th and 8th grade students interested in a future career in Law Enforcement. If you are interested, applications are in the office.
Students, be sure to check you email everyday so you do not miss important information that may not be in the daily announcements.
7th and 8th Grade — This is your time to apply for a scholarship that could pay up to 4 years of tuition to an eligible Indiana college/university. See Mrs. Girdler for assistance.

CES WILL BE OFFERING HOOSIER SUMMER SCHOOL FOR THE 4TH/5TH GRADERS AGAIN THIS YEAR. THERE ARE ONLY A FEW SPOTS REMAINING. TURN IN REGISTRATION FORMS TO MR. THOMPSON OR THE OFFICE ASAP! THE DATES ARE 5/30, 6/4, 6/10, 6/12, AND 6/13 (OVERNIGHT CAMPOUT).
PLEASE REMEMBER TO TURN IN YOUR SPRING PICTURES OR MONEY TO THE OFFICE. MONEY OR PICTURES WERE DUE MAY 3.
