Position Summary:
Covington High School is seeking a head boys tennis coach. Covington competes in Sectional 10, currently with Attica, Benton Central, Fountain Central, and Seeger. The Trojans are coming off a 11-3 record, 4-1 in the Wabash Conference, and Sectional Championship.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
• Oversee Covington tennis program from k-12
• Plan and execute weekly/daily practice plans
• Evaluate and help select assistants and youth coaches
• Abide by all IHSAA and Covington rules and regulations
• Communicate effectively with administration, players, and parents
• Record and report inventory of equipment
• Lead off-season/summer workouts
• Model appropriate behavior on and off the court

Qualifications:
• Preferred prior head coaching experience
• Preferred CPR certifications
• NFHS Learn courses
• Effective coaching techniques and skills
