MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL:

Dear Covington High School Students and Families, It is truly a privilege to introduce myself as the new Principal of Covington High School! I cannot begin to express how enthusiastic I am to begin my journey as a Trojan! Our school is composed of passionate and dedicated staff who are committed to continuing the legacy of success at CHS!

This coming school year will mark my 21st year in the field of education. I come to the corporation with K-12 teaching and leadership experience. I also instructed English classes (on a part-time basis) at the collegiate level for nearly a decade. During the 2022-2023 school year, I served as the Principal for the Southeast Fountain Virtual Academy. I am confident that my experience will help ensure the success of the staff and students at Covington High School!

In addition to my professional life, my greatest accomplishment is my family. My husband will be beginning his 21st year of teaching in a nearby school district. Together, we have three amazing boys who keep us busy and make us proud each and every day. Chase (18) will be a freshman at Indiana State University, Cole (13) will be in 8th grade, and Gage (9) will be in 4th grade.

Being a part of this distinguished community is a privilege that I do not take lightly. Our outstanding community, dedicated student body, and devoted teaching and administrative staff are truly second to none. I cannot wait to see what this year holds, as I am committed to providing a safe and welcoming educational environment to all!
