For this being the first game we’ve played in two and a half weeks we were very excited about how hard and well the team played. We were able to get a few extra minutes for some of our subs and the starting crew put together a shutout and had five different guys score. We have a big tournament Saturday and we’ll tune some things tomorrow in practice to get ready for that.
Covington’s varsity is now 6-1 and will host the Covington Invitational this Saturday. Game one will be Covington against West Vigo at 9am with Frankfort and Faith Christian following at 11:30. There will then be a consolation game followed by the championship game.
