Covington – 0 0 6 0 1 0 2 – 9
Attica – 3 0 2 1 1 0 0 – 7

➽WP – Zoe Badger
➽Highlights – Paige Messmore – 3 for 4, 2 doubles, 3 runs
➽Briley Peyton – 2 for 4, triple
➽Holly Linville – 1 for 4, game winning home run in top of 7th inning, 2 RBI
➽Zoe Badger – 7IP, 9 hits, 0ER

➽This wasn’t our best performance of the year, but the ladies came through big when we needed it! Zoe’s pitching performance, Paige’s bat, numerous girls getting bunts down/running the bases well, and Holly’s game winning home run all gave the girls a morale boost after the game. We’ll fix some things tomorrow in practice and get back to it on Saturday!
➽Covington is now 4-3 and will travel to Attica tomorrow night for a 5pm start.
➽Upcoming Games ➽➽ Tue 4/17/21 – 11:00am at home against Parke Heritage.

The boys golf team went 1-1 Thursday evening at Harrison Hills against Seeger and Southmont. Covington 193, Seeger, 198, and Southmont 180. The Trojans were led by Nolan Potter with a 39. Followed up by Jacob Holycross with season low 50! William “Mr. Consistent” Royce shot another 52, as did Isaiah McCarty. Great job by all team members! Practice today until 5pm.

Student Council Students might be contacting you in an attempt to help you out! They understand you may only need simple cleaning tasks completed. Service is a blessing and we hope to encourage each of you as we try to show we care!

When completed the student will have a paper with their name, your name, tasks completed, amount of time spent working, and they will need you to sign the paper showing they did indeed complete the tasks.

Thanks so much and hope this helps the last weeks of school!
