August 11, 2020 To: Students, Parents, and School – Community Members Fr: Kevin Smith, Superintendent Su: Judy Gee
During the past 47 years Ms. Judy Gee has served as a positive and caring presence for our children, while representing the school corporation in a diverse set of roles. Recently, Ms. Gee came to the decision that now was the right time for her to retire.
Regarding her decision, Ms. Gee stated:
“It’s hard for me to imagine not getting up every morning and going to work at Covington High School. I will really miss all the students and the faculty and staff. Retiring will leave a huge hole in my life and heart. It just seems like the right time for me after talking with my family.”
While serving our school – community these past 47 years, Ms. Gee’s impact through the love and commitment she has provided our children and staff goes well beyond a number, her legacy as a Covington Trojan is one not to be matched. I thank her from the bottom of my heart on behalf of our school corporation and school community.
May God Bless Judy Gee with love, grace, and success.
