Positive Points:
We have an exciting new addition coming to Covington Elementary. We plan to use the proceeds from our Fannie Mae candy fundraiser to create an Outdoor Classroom / Learning Lab for our students. This will provide an area for our children to explore the world around them through hands-on learning in an outdoor setting. This area can be used for traditional lessons and can provide a change of scenery or simply supply a quiet relaxing area for silent reading. The outdoor classroom will be a great space for conducting science experiments and creating S.T.E.M projects. I am very excited about the possibilities and opportunities this lab can bring.
