The 2019-2020 FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) is now open. Any senior planning on continuing their education after high school should plan on filing the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
The SAT will be offered at Covington High School the morning of March 6th. The cost is $47.50, payable to Covington High School. There are fee waivers available for those students who qualify on a first come basis. Students planning on taking this test should sign-up in the guidance office and pay Mrs. Gee by Wednesday, January 9th.
The JV/Varsity boys’ basketball game against Western Boone has been rescheduled for Saturday, 12/22. Game will still be played at Western Boone with the JV starting at 6 P.M.
The C team boys’ basketball game against Attica has been rescheduled for Thursday, 1/17, starting at 6 P.M. Game will still be played at Covington.

Last night the boy’s middle school teams both played FC. The 7th Grade lost to a tough Fountain Central group but showed lots of improvement. The 8th grade won in the 2nd game, with the entire team contributing to the victory. Great job boys and keep up the hard work.

Free gently used and new coats for children and adults are being distributed on a first come,

The 2018 CHS “Hugs Not Drugs” Cheer Clinic will be on Saturday, December 15 from 10:30 – 1:00pm with registration/check in beginning at 10:00am in the MPR. Please join the cheerleaders for a morning full of cheer technique, jumps, and cheers. Participants will perform during the JV halftime on December 15. Registration forms are due November 27 to guarantee a T-shirt. Cost is $18.00.
