Covington High School Announcements

There will be no track practice today

HONORS BANQUET The 63rd Annual Covington High School Honor Banquet will be
held TOMORROW April 21st at the Beef House Banquet Hall.
Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, this event will be limited to honor students and CCSC administration only. Our plan is to livestream the presentation of awards; If that is not possible, we will record and post it the following day.

➥There are sign up sheets for The Escape Room and Dodgeball tournament in Mrs. Linville’s office for any student interested in doing these at after prom. You will need to sign up for a time slot for the escape room as only a limited number of students can go through at a time.
Juniors and Seniors, You are invited to Covington’s after prom celebration on April 24th. The event will run from 11:30 – 2:30 am in our gym with the following activities planned:
2 Escape Rooms
4 large inflatables (obstacle course, jousting, etc)
Dodgeball tournament
Corn hole
Plinko (and other carnival style games)
Giant Jenga
Giant Connect Four
Henna tattoos
Poker/Blackjack table
Cappuccino/Dessert bar (including Dunkin’ Donuts!)
Prizes – so many prizes – including a few lucky ones who will win BIG at the end (must be present to win)
++ so much more ++ you won’t want to miss it!
Reminders: you do not have to attend prom to go to after prom; just have to be a Covington Jr or Sr. You may also leave at any time, however, you will not be allowed back in and you will not be eligible for the big prizes at the end. You do not need to bring any money – everything is 100% free for you, and you will walk away with some nice prizes! Please sign up in advance for dodgeball and Escape Room. Hope to see you there!

*The Prom committee will meet in Mrs. Coffing’s room during lunch “A” EVERY Thursday unless told otherwise.

Student Council Students might be contacting you in an attempt to help you out! They understand you may only need simple cleaning tasks completed. Service is a blessing and we hope to encourage each of you as we try to show we care!

When completed the student will have a paper with their name, your name, tasks completed, amount of time spent working, and they will need you to sign the paper showing they did indeed complete the tasks.

Thanks so much and hope this helps the last weeks of school.

20-21 yearbooks are still on sale until April 24th. You can visit or pick up a paper order form from Mrs. Hohenstein’s desk. For a sneak peek of the cover, see Mr. Sowers or talk to Morgan Dexter.
