Covington High School Announcements
Please return overdue books to the high school library.
The Senior Class flower, color, and motto committee will meet TODAY from 11:55-12:25 in the clothing room. Bring lots of ideas to complete this project.
The Homeroom Door Decorating Contest is still on!! The deadline is November *23rd, with a broad theme of autumn/fall. Student Council members will vote for their favorite door, and the winning homeroom will receive a pizza lunch. Good luck!!
Below is information to order Covington Basketball fan gear. The gear will be delivered before Christmas, so you can save yourself some time with some online shopping. It also serves as our team’s fundraiser for the year. The deadline for ordering is November 14th. Thanks for supporting our Covington Trojans Basketball Program and happy shopping!

For the ninth year, your Covington NHS wants to bless 100 families in need with a complete Thanksgiving meal. Thanks to the businesses who help us, it only costs $25 to gift a family an 8-12 pound turkey, a large can of green beans, a large can of corn, a box of Stovetop stuffing, a large box of instant potatoes, rolls, a jar of turkey gravy, a pumpkin pie, a gallon of Prairie Farms milk, an aluminum pan, and a cooking bag for the turkey. The food pantry helps us organize this so that those families who need it most receive the dinners. We want to do 100 meals! If you feel inclined to help a family this holiday season, let me know, and I can come get the check or cash from you anytime between now and November 16th.
SPORTS
Tonight the Lady Trojans will travel to North Putnam. JV will start at 6 p.m., with Varsity following at 7:30 p.m.
