Covington High School Announcements
There will be a meeting of the current National Honor Society officers as well as next year’s officer’s in Mrs. Willis’s room during the first ten minutes of homeroom today.,
The Prom committee needs to meet in Mrs. Coffing’s room after announcements today.
There will be a Track call out on Monday, February 10 during Homeroom in Mr. Dickerson’s room.
The theme for the Girls Basketball Sectional game tonight is Beach attire.
Mrs. Edward’s and Mr. Scott’s MIMH class is selling Valentine’s card until Valentine’s Day…be sure to check them out.
FFA Dues are $14.00, Turn in FFA Field Trip forms by Monday.

The Badlands Off-Road Park in Attica is looking for part time help. Students interested in applying should stop by their office and pick up an application.

a sign up sheet in the high school office.
The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony is Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1:00 pm at
The Beef House. Tickets for the ceremony are $5.00 each and may be purchased from
Mrs. Gee in the high school.
The U.S. Census Bureau is looking to hire locally to help with the 2020 Census (part-time and full time jobs available). You must be at least 18, have a valid Social Security number and be a U.S. citizen. See Mrs. Myers or Mr. Ballard for more information, or go to 2020census.gov/jobs.
Weekend Red Cross Lifeguard class @ Fountain Central HS in Veedersburg, IN, just off I-74 & US-41, is now open for registration (starts Feb. 15). Lifeguarding is a tremendous summer and often year round job. Guards find work in local community, school, YMCA, state parks, and college pools. You must be 15 by April 1st 2020, and strong swimmer, able to pass a swimming test. Adults (teachers, coaches) are welcome. There is also renewal class March 1st also for current lifeguards.
Please remember to check your lunch balance in Harmony. If you are in the minus NO extras or seconds. If your balance is over -$15.00, you will be given an alternate lunch, which includes a PB&J with a vegetable, fruit & milk.
The date for the Prom is Saturday, April 25 at the Beef House from 7:00 to 11:00 pm.
Covington High School 2020 yearbooks are now on sale. Cost is $50.00 You may pick up an order form in the high school office or order online at yearbookforever.com. Deadline date to order is March 20, 2020.
The 2019 Yearbooks have arrived. Graduates may pick them up from Mrs. Gee.
