WELCOME to the 2012-2013 school year.  The first day of school will be Tuesday, August 14th.  This is a full day.

OPEN HOUSE for the new school year will be Monday, August 13th from 6:00-7:00p.m.  Students can bring in their supplies and meet their teacher.

DOORS OPEN at 7:55a.m.  School begins at 8:15a.m. and dismisses at 2:55p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.  Wednesday dismissal is at 2:20p.m.

Breakfast / Lunch prices for the elementary:  Breakfast $1.30 and Lunch $1.80.  Reduced Breakfast $.30 and Reduced Lunch $.40.  Kindergarten milk is $.35.

BIRTH CERTIFICATES and SHOT RECORDS are due in the office ASAP.

PLEASE BE SURE TO SEND IN YOUR SIGNATURE PAGE IF YOU DID NOT DO SO AT REGISTRATION.

When entering CES, please do so at the Main Entrance only and Check in at the Office.  Thank you.

REGISTRATION FORMS for the 4-year-old preschool class at CES are available.  Students must be 4 years of age on or before August 1st.  There is a one time registration fee of $25.00.

SCHOOL PICTURES for Pre-school through 2nd grade will be on Monday, October 8th.  Pre K and grades 3-5 will be photographed on Tuesday, October 9th.

BACKGROUND CHECKS for parents wanting to go on field trips can be obtained through the Covington Community School Corporation website under the Superintendent’s office tab.  There is a fee for the service.  If the parent went through the process last year, he/she does NOT have to do another background check.

TREATS brought in for the students need to be pre-packaged from a store.

Please continue to send in Box Tops for Education.  However, we DO NOT take Campbell labels for education.  Thanks for your help.  This is a great moneymaker for us.
