I am excited to have the new employees listed below joining our 1CT family. All new employees were hired during the Monday, May 10, 2021, school board meeting, for the 2021-2022 school year.
Ms. Trisha Edwards is returning to Covington with 17 years of experience in the special education field. She is a Purdue graduate, with a bachelor’s degree in special education.
At Covington, Ms. Edwards will be instructing special education students for the middle and high schools. Ms. Edwards and her family, husband Josh and sons Ross and Caleb reside in Williamsport.
Ms. Chelsea Market joins us from Brownsburg Schools, where she has taught for the past six years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, from Purdue University, in elementary education.
Chelsea will be joining the middle school instructional team.
Ms. Market and her family, husband Dylan and daughter Brooklyn reside in Thorntown.
Ms. Lisa Hauck is moving across the state line after spending the past 18 years teaching in the Danville school district in order to join our 1CT team. She is an Indiana State University graduate, earning a bachelors degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in education.
She will be joining our elementary instructional team.
Ms. Hauck and her family, husband Chris and three children Lucas, Logan, and Mackenzie reside in Covington.
Mr. Evan Morgan joins us from Seeger where he has taught and coached during the past four years. Evan has coaching experience from four school districts and is an Indiana University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in
Physical Education and Health.
He will also serve as the varsity boys basketball coach and will be joining our middle school instructional team.
Mr. Morgan and his wife Kelzsie reside in Crawfordsville.
Ms. Leslie Sebastian will be joining our high school instructional team after spending the past nine years at North Vermillion High School, where she taught English Language Arts.
Leslie is an Eastern Illinois graduate with a bachelor’s degree in English. She earned a masters degree in curriculum and instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Ms. Sebastian and her partner Richard live in Georgetown. She has three children, Laurel, Chelsea and Thane, as well as five grandchildren.
